I love this photograph by Ann Hamilton because it’s content is so unexpected. The photograph is both terrifying and captivating, as the subject seems to be mid scream with hair to replace teeth. From a distance, the photograph can also appear to be a hollow eye. The contours in this picture are so interesting because the composition is so unforeseen.
