While it's hard to see the 3-dimensionality of this work in this picture, I really like the way Frank Stella plays with separation of space and separation of color, and the way the shapes and textures of the overall structure converge and contrast with each other as colors shift. I particularly link the way the light blue form droops near the pink and black one, which seems to be rushing away from its opposite.
