Color Artist

This print by Andy Warhol creates visual interest through the use of complimentary colors.  The use of cool colors for the face of Richard Nixon contributes to a creepy and disconcerting look.  Nixon’s head seems to sink back, while his eyes and mouth, depicted by warm colors, seem leap out in a harsh and aggressive manner.  I like this piece, because Warhol presents a strong point through the use of color.
