This work by Andy Goldsworthy uses color to draw the eye to the focal point in the center of the composition. He uses a color scheme of warm colors, partly dictated by the available leaves, to create a scale in hue and value that brightens towards the center before falling into the black hole. I like this work because of the dimension created by the color scale, and the visual interest created by the sharp jump between the yellow and the black in the center.
