Tim Hawkinson
This piece by Tim Hawkinson is so grotesque that the viewer practically can't help but to stare at it. It looks like each finger never ends; just at the last joint, it is replaced by a new arm, complete with a hand which also has had its fingers broken into another set of arms, as one can tell from the bulbs at the end of each finger. In this way, it's like a fractal, being broken down into infinity. The arms look like they've just been pasted on to the fingers, as there are sharp lines connecting them and differences in skin tones, but that just makes it more interesting, like body parts thrown together in Frankenstein's monster.
