this Richard Serra piece shows symmetrical balance along a central axis. There is also symmetry in the size of each wall. The placement of the pieces as well as their curved shape create a focal point in the center of the piece. The piece also gives the feeling of movement because of the curves of the walls which create shadows on the ground that look as if they are vibrating.
