In Fall5, Elijah Gowin very strongly suggests anticipated motion. Combining the viewer's prior experiences both with gravity and with going swimming, one knows that this man is not simply hovering in the air, but in the midst of some sort of jump, drop, or fall, the result of which will be his plunging into the water. The shape of the man's body also suggests downward motion: the u-shape he makes points down toward the water, indicating a fall.
