Muybridge

This work by Muybridge strongly conveys motion. It evokes kinesthetic empathy as the viewer tries to recreate the motion in their mind. Anticipated movement is also a characteristic of these images. The use of multiple images and the particular grouping of these images create a compilation demonstrating a series of specific sets of action, all in sequence. Also, different subjects from different sources are repeated and collaged to demonstration motion from left to right in each row.
