Slow Kill 2007

Even with still photographs, this is an action-packed piece of art. The viewer can see the lion chasing, attacking, catching the buffalo and finally establishing complete dominance over the prey. The title "Slow kill" is very appropriate because the viewer is able to look at the scene slowly to see the detail without losing track of the action. It is as though the hunting process has slowed down. Brendan Fernandes has mastered multiple images technique to successfully bring action to a set of still pictures.
