Bechers
The Bechers take pictures of similar but distinctly not identical industrial buildings that they describe as 'buildings where anonymity is accepted to be the style.' The visual unity here is quite obvious. There is color uniformity, as well as repetition of the same shapes and lines, a strict grid pattern, and a high level of conformity amongst the buildings. The Bechers are trying to show the beauty in the differences between these individual forms.
