Bechers- Visual Unity

This Bechers piece, like many of his other works, uses a rigid grid structure as an organizing element to convey visual unity. The format also enforces visual unity be using similar shapes, colors (black and white), lines, and tone. Repetition here is The viewer is still engaged however by noting the specific differences between each image (e.g. the placement of the windows and the various crossbeams).
