Joan Miro, Dutch Interior I

Miro uses shapes in an innovative manner because people do not normally associate those shapes with the images he is trying to portray. For instance, even though the dog is composed of unconventional shapes, we are still able to discern it as a dog. The guitar also has a wonderful shape. The piece also has shapes that are unidentifiable. I like Miro's use of curved lines in this piece.
