This piece by Kara Walker was created specially for The School of Arts. While Walker's artwork always uses positive and negative space to create often whimsical figures, I particularly enjoy the youthful energy of this piece. The figures take on an almost fairytale-esque nature, appropriate for display in the School of Arts.
