Kiki Smith

This is one of Kiki Smith's pieces of work that she titled "My Blue Lake." This immediately caught my eye because of the gloomy, moody colors and the shapes of the face(s). It reminds me of one of those funky mirrors in a fun house at a carnival. Overall, this piece of art kind of makes me feel uncomfortable because the image makes the woman look like Jaba the Hutt, which is not a compliment, and women just shouldn't look like a big blob like that.
