I like this piece of art because it is similar to what I try to achieve when taking photographs. The photograph can be broken into fore-ground, middle-ground and back-ground. The emphasis is on the big huge dining sign in the middle ground. The background creates a warm welcoming environment - like the viewer is going to have dinner at home. The foreground is quite empty, just a little sign on the right but that's the purpose. It creates emptiness that seems to attract the viewer towards the sign.
