Personage Throwing a Stone at a Bird by Joan Miro.
My only issue is that you have to look at it really closely to get it. It's a great piece though. It's interesting to look at it with this new vocabulary that Millee's taught me. There's actually unity through continuity, and I wouldn't have seen it before. The pink toe is lined up with the stone, who's in line with the bird and the eye more or less. The eye does seem to run circles around it. I want to make the point that now that I know how unity through continuity works, my eye runs too many circles, and it's irritating. I feel stuck and manipulated by the artist.
